There's Nothing like a...

Deadline. I do well with them. I like it when you can pace yourself out and figure out a plan and you have a specified goal. That's why I am enjoying the NaNoWriMo thing. If I just said "I'm going to write a novel" with no specific goal or deadline, I do not know if it would happen. With the one month and the 50, 000 words stipulated I am in heaven. I love the bar graphs you use to track your progress. It is fun to watch it go up and up and up! I am at 27,000 words and counting. That's about 2,000 words ahead of schedule. It's all good.
